Pigs-n-Heat game raises more than $15,000
The 30th annual Pigs-n-Heat hockey game was a success last night in raising money for the Marquette County fire relief fund.
According to the Marquette City Police, the charity hockey game raised between $15,000 and $17,000.
The amount raised is about the same as in years past.
The Pigs-N-Heat Fire Relief Fund provides money for families displaced by fires, giving them a few nights in a hotel room to help them start over.
