Names released from marijuana bust
The names of two Ontonagon County residents accused of running a marijuana grow operation have been released.
Thirty-seven-year-old Toni Sanchez and 43-year-old Dustin Garrick are both from Bruce Crossing.
They’re both charged with malicious destruction of property: trees, shrubs, crops, grass and turf — more than $1,000 but less than $20,000; and delivery and manufacture of marijuana.
On Tuesday, Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post said they found equipment used to make marijuana in a hidden room in Sanchez’s and Garrick’s residence.
They’re being held on $10,000 bond each, and they have preliminary exams in Ontonagon County District Court on March 19th.
