Federal charges in Meth Bust
Federal drug charges have been leveled against three people in connection with a bust two weeks ago in Ishpeming. The bust was at a residence on 7th Street in Ishpeming.
Each of the three faces a single charge of Conspiracy Involving the Distribution and Manufacture of Meth. 31 year old Justin Carl Saari, 46 year old Chad Steven Warlin and 32 year old Kelly Kathleen Warlin were arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team November 26th.
Each of the individuals face up to 20 years in prison, if convicted on the charges. The trio is lodged in the Marquette County Jail.
The UPSET team, the only Drug Enforcement Agency–approved Meth Response Team in the U.P., cleared the home of the hazardous chemicals used to make meth.
The Ishpeming Police Department and Marquette County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the investigation.
The UPSET team wants help in getting rid of the dangerous chemicals used in meth labs. Contact them at (906) 346-9289 if you know of people using them to manufacture or distribute the drug.
