H.S. Football: Menominee ready for G.R. West Catholic
The Menominee Maroons last won a state championship back in 2007.
Fast forward 5 years later to today, and the Maroons are in the state semifinals in Division 5, where a familiar foe awaits them tomorrow at the Superior Dome.
The Grand Rapids West Catholic Falcons are no strangers to Menominee.
These two teams have met in the playoffs 3 times the last 5 years. In fact, the Falcons have ended the Maroons season in each of the last 2 seasons.
Tomorrow’s game between the Maroons and Falcons is set to get underway at 2pm, at the Superior Dome on the campus of Northern Michigan University.
