Guilty plea in drunk driving accident
The Ishpeming man arrested after a drunk driving incident on Monday has been pled guilty to the charges against him.
31 year old Patrick Joseph Hill was arraigned today in 96th District Court in Marquette.
His arrest Monday came moments after he crashed his vehicle, hitting another car, in Negaunee.
A call to police about a driver who appeared to be driving under the influence alerted police to be on the lookout for him Monday afternoon westbound on U-S 41. Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post were able to catch up toHill his 2003 Ford pickup just after he caused an accident at U.S. 41 and Baldwin Street in Negaunee.
Hill a 2006 Buick driven by a 67 year old Negaunee man. The motorist reported minor injuries.
Hill pled guilty in court today for operating while intoxicated, second offense. A firearm possession charge was dropped. Hill is to be sentenced November 28th.
