ONTONAGON COUNTY ANIMAL PROTECTION

“Shall Ontonagon County levy a tax to help with operating expenses for maintaining the Animal Shelter in the amount of 0.15 mils (15 cents per $1,000.00 of taxable valuation) for a period of four (4) years. This millage, beginning in 2013 and continuing through 2016, on the taxable value of all taxable property in Ontonagon County, State of Michigan, as provided by Article IX, Section 6 of the Michigan Constitution, and the funds received shall
be used for general operating expenses of the Animal Shelter operated by OCAP at 19504 M-38 in Ontonagon. This millage is estimated to raise $37,154.10 in the first year.”
