Ironwood Apartment Building Fire
No one was hurt in an apartment building fire in Ironwood Saturday morning.
It started shortly before 5:30 Central time at 222 East Aurora Street.
Ironwood volunteer firefighters needed about an hour to put the flames out.
Residents had to evacuate the building.
There’s no word on how badly the building was damaged.
Ironwood Public Safety is still investigating the cause of the fire, and they say they’ll release more information about it once they know more.
The Red Cross is helping victims of the fire.
The Hurley Fire Department and Beacon Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
