Michigan Tech Water Festival
More than 1,100 students visited the Great Lakes Research Center at Michigan Tech today to learn about water.
More importantly, they learned about the environment and how water plays a vital role in our area.
They also learned about how remotely-operated vehicles are used to collect data on Lake Superior, and they got up close to some smaller samples of one of the lake’s largest fish.
They may be inspired to take tougher math and science classes so that one day, they too can become scientists.
