Mobile Meth Lab Plea Deal
A Michigamme man is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in a mobile meth lab case.
29–year–old Mathew Querfeld pleaded guilty today in Marquette County Circuit Court to methamphetamine possession.
It has a potential ten–year prison sentence.
Querfeld will be sentenced on October 19th.
The Ishpeming Police arrested him on August 31st for driving under the influence of drugs.
Police say they found in his car several meth lab components and a substance that appeared to be methamphetamine.
They also say the license plate on the vehicle had been stolen or forged.
Querfeld was facing several other charges that have been dismissed in exchange for his guilty plea.
Those were operating or maintaining a meth lab, forgery of a license plate and operating while intoxicated, second offense.
Querfeld is being held in the Marquette County Jail.
