Kincheloe Meth Lab Bust
Three people in Chippewa County are in jail tonight following a meth lab bust Thursday.
The Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement drug team says it took place at a home in Kincheloe at about 3 yesterday afternoon.
SANE says they arrested three people: 28–year–old Brian Smallman, 23–year–old Angela Smallman and 24–year–old Joshua Sheber.
Police say they got a tip about a possible meth lab in the home which led to a search warrant.
They say found evidence of ongoing meth production, including lab equipment, chemicals and methamphetamine itself.
Detectives also seized a gun from the home, and the Michigan Department of Human Services removed a young child from the home as well.
The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department, the Michigan State Police and the Kinross Township Police and Fire Departments are among many other agencies that assisted at the scene.
