Break-in suspect has day in court
A Houghton County man accused of breaking into two businesses was in court today. The case against the suspected burglar of two Lake Linden businesses is headed to Circuit Court.
25-year-old Philip Provost was bound over after he waived his preliminary hearing in 97Th District Court today in Houghton County. Provost is charged with two counts of Breaking and Entering a building with Intent which is a ten year felony.
Morty’s Gas Station and the Loading Zone on M-26 were broken into in July. Provost was arrested following the break-ins and remains lodged in the Houghton County Jail.
He will be arraigned in Circuit Court in September.
