Two Arrested in Iron Mountain for breaking and entering
Two people from Iron Mountain are in the Dickinson County Jail tonight following a breaking and entering investigation.
25–year–old Ashley Lynn Wieland and 42–year–old Carl Phillip Oslund, were arrested in connection with a break–in at a house on the east side of Iron Mountain on July 9th of this year.
Wieland was arrested Saturday evening by the Iron Mountain Police Department following a traffic stop. Oslund was arrested early sunday morning at a motel in Norway.
Wieland is being charged with 2nd degree home invasion and receiving and concealing stolen property. Her bond is set at $20,000 cash or surety bond.
Oslund is also being charged with home invasion in the 2nd degree, receiving and concealing stolen property as well as a habitual offender 3rd notice. His bond has been set at $40,000 cash or surety bond.
According to police the B and E was discovered when the homeowners returned from a vacation. The owner of the house reported that a large number of jewelry items were taken. Police have receovered some of the items.
