Tigers acquire two from Marlins
The Detroit Tigers acquired former 2B Omar Infante and starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez from the Miami Marlins, in exchange for the Tigers top pitching prospect- Jacob Turner, along with other prospects Rob Brantly and Brian Flynn.
So far this season with the Marlins, Infante hit .287 with 8 HRs and 33 RBIs, while Sanchez has a record of 5-7 and 3.96 ERA in 19 starts.
The Tigers begin a nine game road trip, starting with three games in Cleveland, tomorrow night.
