US-41 Road Construction Update

One of MDOT’s biggest project is the complete remake of the stretch of US-41 between the Carp River bridge and welcome center in Marquette, and that project is starting to take shape.

Crews have been working around the clock since April preparing the road, and now that some of the small things are done they can focus on laying down the foundation for the future road.

Once the North bound lanes have been paved the traffic flow will be switched over from the current lanes so that crews can begin work on the South bound lanes.
