Wolf & Moose website revamped
If you enjoy following the study of wolves and moose on Isle Royale…then you’ll want to visit the newly revamped website designed to update enthusiasts on the project.
The Isle Royale Wolf-Moose project brand and website were redeveloped by Monte Consulting of Houghton.
The effort is intended to gain more audience support, recruit volunteers, and increase readership in the team’s research.
Ecologist John Vucetich from Michigan Tech said the team can even update the site from the field.

The results of a recent study showed the wolf pack diminished due to the accidental death of several key wolves.
One was a young female and another is believed to be the alpha male.
They apparently fell…along with a third wolf…into an old mine shaft on the island.
Researchers continue to monitor the predator-prey relationship between the wolves and the moose of the island.
