Moose Crossing on M-95
The natural beauty of the U.P. is a big tourism draw…on water or on land.
Of course, the wildlife of Upper Michigan plays into that, too.
This moose was spotted this week along M–95 in Marquette County
Just north of Republic.
Scott and Melissa Ranta saw the moose standing on the side of the road.
Scott says the moose walked onto the road and stopped in the middle of the road and stood there watching another vehicle approach.
Scott flashed his headlights to that second vehicle to slow down.
He says once that vehicle came to a stop, the moose trotted off the road heading west.
