MDOT to review M-26 plans in Tamarack May 9

Representatives from the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Ishpeming Transportation Service Center (TSC) will review construction plans for M-26 in Tamarack during a public meeting. Osceola Township officials also will be in attendance to discuss plans to upgrade underground township utilities during the project.

Interested business owners and residents are invited to attend the informational session from 5-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at the Tamarack Fire Hall (51733 Tamarack St., Tamarack.)

MDOT will be reconstructing 0.6 miles of M-26 in Tamarack this construction season, tentatively scheduled to begin May 10 and be completed by Sept. 21. The work will require a traffic shift and lane closures under flag control.
