Negaunee Service Group Starts Planning
A garden group that has only been around for a short time has made a big impact in the City of Negaunee by sprucing up area parks.
The Negaunee Beautification Committee started their park clean-up planning this evening. Miners Park and Pocket Park in Negaunee are the two areas that will be receiving most of their attention.
The group relies on community sponsors to fund their projects, and most importantly volunteers of all ages.
You don’t need to have a green thumb or even know how to garden. This groups is just looking for people interested in making the parks in the City of Negaunee a little more picturesque.
If you are interested in joining the Beautification Committee, contact the Committee Organizer Anna Mattson at 362–8160
