NMU ROTC Winter Survival Training
The Northern Michigan University ROTC Wildcat Battalion concluded its winter survival training today.
The cadets were up early this morning to participate in a variety of teamwork events.
But cadet battalion commander Xander Alix says that before they could compete in the round-robin events, they had to survive spending the night outside in Mother Nature.
And more important than taking home the award is the lesson of teamwork that the cadets learn from the outdoor winter training.
To conclude the two–day event, the cadets had to march from their training grounds in Forestville back to the NMU campus.
