Negaunee Public Schools Plan Holiday Events

Negaunee Public Schools have a number of holiday events over the next few weeks.

*Friday, December 9th – Negaunee Public Schools’ Rock ‘N Read/Project

Newborn Christmas party will be held at the Lakeview School library from

9:30-11. This event brings in parents and their children (ages birth –

school age) as a fun interactive morning centered around the importance

of reading to your child from birth. There will be stories read,

crafts, refreshments and a visit from Santa (around 10 a.m.).

*Saturday, December 10th – Lakeview School will hold a Craft Sale in the

halls of the school. Over 30 vendors will be showcasing their crafts.

This is a fundraiser sponsored by the Lakeview Parent Teacher

Partnership which in turn donates the monies raised back to the school

for field trips and other purchases.

*Wednesday, December 14 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Friday, December 16th at 1 p.m. – Lakeview School will hold it’s annual Holiday Concert

featuring grades 2 & 4 on 12/14 @ 11, Grades 3-5 @ 1 and Grades Young

5’s, Kindergarten and 1st on 12/16 @ 1. Students in the Lakeview chorus

will also perform at all the concerts.

*Monday, December 19 – Lakeview School chorus will be caroling at the

Marquette Medical Care Facility beginning at 9:30 a.m.

*Tuesday, Decemer 20 – Lakeview School chorus will be caroling at the

Eastwood Nursing Home beginning at 9:30 a.m.
