More Moose in Presque Isle Park
Reports of moose at Presque Isle Park have increased traffic and patrols by Marquette City Police.
According to a Parks and Recreation Department employee, a trio of moose has been spotted at the park: a cow, a calf and a bull.
Marquette Police were monitoring the situation at the park this morning.
Police say people should stay away from the animals.
Adult moose will often act aggressively to defend their young.
This past summer, a moose wandered around Presque Isle Park for more than two weeks before it was tranquilized and moved north of the city.
