Thanksgiving Volunteers Needed
Thanksgiving Day is traditionally a day to gather together the family to create memories and full stomachs.
Everyone deserves to have a great Thanksgiving meal and Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly are trying to make sure Copper Country Seniors don’t spend the holiday alone.
They will be hosting dinners beginning at 1pm in nine different locations including Houghton, Hancock, Calumet, South Range, Tapiola, Ontonagon, Baraga, and Copper City.
They will also be preparing hot meals for those seniors who are going to be alone and cannot come to the holiday parties.
Help is needed! Little Brothers are looking for volunteer help with transportation, cooking, and set-up and clean-up. What they need most are people who will deliver a hot meal to someone and pay that person a friendly visit on Thanksgiving.
If you would like to help, call Little Brothers in Hancock at 482-6944.
