Police are Still Looking for Help finding the Driver involved in a Hit and Run
Police are still looking for help in finding the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit and run Thursday.The suspect vehicle is a red pickup with white trim. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened at 4:20pm Thursday as two vehicles were stopped in the right lane of US 41 East at Commerce Drive in Marquette.
A red pickup truck came up from behind and struck the rear of the second car. The impact pushed the car into the vehicle in front of it.
The truck drove around the two damaged cars and left the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle had to be extricated from the car by Marquette Township Fire and Rescue and was transported to Marquette General Hospital.
The driver and occupants of the first vehicle were not injured.
The truck is described as a red pick up truck it may have a white stripe or highlights.
It should show extensive front end damage.
