Community Bids on Antiques for a Good Cause

Antique lovers gathered together this evening to support a local cause and hopefully find a treasure or two.

It was the 6th annual Timeless Temptations Fundraiser held each year for the Marquette Regional History Center.

The event includes both a silent and live auction, plenty of food, dancing and live music.

These types of fundraisers are important because the History Center is a non–profit organization and doesn’t receive any state funding.

While all of the proceeds from this fundraiser will help with operational costs.

The museum still needs support in their “Capital Campaign”.

So far 2.6 Million has been raised.

But there is still 1.2 to go.
