Crash in Gladstone Injures Two

Two men were injured today after a two vehicle crash in Gladstone.

Gladstone public safety responded to the scene at US2 and US41 just after three this afternoon.

A trailer being pulled northbound broke away from it’s tow vehicle driven by 36 year old Anthony Lambert.

It crossed the median of the highway and struck an MJ electric truck driven by 46 year old Roger Jacobs of Indian River.

Jacobs was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by Escanaba Public Safety personnel.

He was transported to St Francis Hospital by rampart EMS.

His passenger 53 year old Gary Chambers of Edmore was also injured but sought his own treatment.

Lambert was not injured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation.
