Body Found in Marquette County ID’d
The body found Tuesday afternoon in Harvey has been identified by Chocolay Township Police.
Police Chief Greg Zyburt says the body is that of 40 year old Jamison Michael Weston.
Weston’s body was found just before 2:30 Tuesday afternoon in Chocolay Township in a wooded area behind Wahlstrom’s Restaurant.
A local resident walking his dog came across the body and notified police.
Authorities say it appears the man had been living out of a shelter near the area where his body was found.
The Chocolay Township Police Department, along with the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police Crime Lab are continuing the investigation into the cause of death.
An autopsy was scheduled for Wednesday.
No foul play is suspected.
