Body Found Near Wahlstrom’s Restaurant
Law enforcement officials have been working near a restaurant in Harvey tonight after a dead body was found there in the afternoon.
Just before 2:30, Chocolay Township Police were called to a wooded area behind Wahlstrom’s restaurant.
A Harvey resident who was walking his dog came across the body in the woods.
Police say it appears the deceased individual had been living out of a shelter near the area where the body was found.
Township police, the Marquette County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police Forensic Lab in Marquette are continuing the investigation.
