Marquette Teen Sexting Investigation
Marquette Police are just wrapping up a month-long investigation into a another crime that is growing across the country.
It’s a sexting case involving young local teenagers.
The 13-and-14-year-olds reportedly sent provocative photos of themselves to other teens.
The Marquette County Prosecutor’s office issued 4 felony juvenile petitions regarding this incident.
Sexting is sending sexually explicit images or messages from a cell phone.
Sending or possessing any sexually explicit material is against the law.
It becomes a felony if the material involves children.
