Kennecott Mine Project Forums

Kennecott Minerals says U.P. residents have been asking them to share more information about the Eagle Mine project.

And the company says it has a lot to tell, so it plans to do that in the next two weeks.

It’s hosting a series of public forums about the mine project.

— Next Tuesday night at the Humboldt Township Hall

— Next Wednesday night at the Country Village in Ishpeming

— Next Thursday night at the Powell Township School

— Tuesday, the 26th, at the Marquette Ramada Inn

The forums are from 6pm to 8pm on each of those nights.
