Hearing Cancelled for Range Bank Suspect

The federal court hearing slated for today for the Kingsford bank robbery suspect is cancelled.

45-year-old Kimberly Timbrook-Miller of Iron River was scheduled to have a preliminary exam and detention hearing this afternoon.

But she decided to not contest her detention.

She’s also waived her right to have the preliminary exam.

The next step is for the Marquette U.S. Attorney’s Office to indict her.

Timbrook-Miller is accused of robbing the Range Bank in Kingsford last Wednesday.

The FBI claims she used a plastic toy gun to steal more than $50,000.

The Bureau says besides confessing to that robbery, she also confessed to a bank robbery in Wabeno, Wiscomsin from back in December.
