Arrest in Michigan Tech Flashing
The Michigan Tech campus flasher has apparently been arrested.
It’s a 20-year-old man from Coburntown.
His name hasn’t been released yet.
Campus Public Safety, Houghton City Police and the county Sheriff’s Department all took part in the joint investigation.
They arrested him Saturday.
He’s charged with an indecent exposure incident in Portage Township and another on the MTU campus.
That one happened the Sunday before last.
A female student was walking home through campus at about 12:30am.
She was coming up to the space between the Administration Building and the Memorial Union Building.
She saw a silver vehicle circling in the parking lot.
The white adult male driver pulled up next to her and asked if she wanted a ride home.
The driver was exposing himself.
The suspect has posted bond, and he’s scheduled to be arraigned in Houghton District Court tomorrow.
