The Calumet man accused of a weekend stabbing will return to court February 22nd.

That’s when 36-year-old Kenneth Caron is slated to have his preliminary exam.

Caron is accused of stabbing another Calumet man on 4th Street in Calumet Township Sunday night.

The victim is 46 years old.

He was treated at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital for stab wounds to his left arm and right leg and released.

Caron and the victim were having a dispute of some kind just before the stabbing.

Police are still looking into the cause of that dispute.

Caron is in the Houghton County Jail on $5,000 bond.
