McClellan Avenue will go back to Two Lanes
After lane additions to McClellan Avenue came too soon, the city is now removing those lanes painted today.
Over the weekend, without residents or the city knowing part of McClellan Avenue, from Ridge to Fair Street, went from a two–lane road
to a three–lane road with a bike lane.
City commissioners met yesterday and are going to change the road back to two lanes.
Removal of the stripes will cost the city about $6,000.
McClellan Avenue will be back to its original form by the end of the week.
