Menominee County Men Jailed on Drug Charges

4 men are in the Menominee County Jail on drug charges tonight after 2 incidents last night.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested a 23-year-old and a 19-year-old in the city on multiple counts of marijuana delivery.

UPSET also made a drug bust at a Menominee home later in the night.

They found large amounts of heroin and cocaine, $500 cash, dirty hypodermic needles and cooking spoons.

The 2 men police found in the house are being charged with felonies related to heroin and cocaine.

They’re also charged with child endangerment and maintaining a drug house.

One of the men at the house is also accused of trying to smuggle a controlled substance into a jail.

Several other charges are still pending.

None of the 4 men’s names are being released.
