Michigan Tech President Gets Raise

Michigan Tech’s president gets a vote of confidence in the job he’s doing and the reward of a raise.

Dr. Glenn Mroz is getting a 3.5% salary boost to $269,000 a year.

The school’s Board of Control has signed off on the idea.

The board voted unanimously for the raise after several board members gave Dr. Mroz a positive job evaluation.

Board members say the 3.5% amount is right around the faculty average for a yearly raise.
