Hancock May Have Middle School Moving Sale

Hancock Middle School may play host to a big moving sale.

The planned move to a new addition at the high school is still nearly a year away, but the district has a lot of items in there that are perfectly good but won’t make the trip to the new home.

There won’t be room for all of them.

The new middle school will be much smaller in size than the current one.

From World War I until the late 1990s, it used to be the high school.

Construction of the new middle school should get started by Thanksgiving.

If it starts on time and doesn’t hit any bit setbacks, most of the move should take place during summer vacation and it should open at the start of school next fall.
