Officers seize 'substantial amount' of crystal meth from residence

ADAMS TOWNSHIP — One man is in custody after police found what they’re calling a ‘substantial amount’ of crystal meth from a residence in Adams Township.

Deputies with the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic violence complaint early Wednesday morning. During their investigation, deputies secured two residences and procured search warrants.

Officers found crystal meth at one of the residences. Police then took one man into custody.

The Houghton County Prosecutor’s Office, Houghton Police Department, Michigan State Police – Calumet Post and UPSET Detectives assisted the sheriff’s office with the investigation.
