Cake Decorating Contest

Television shows revolving around baking and cooking have become wildly popular, but no need to worry, you don’t have to audition for “Cake boss” or “Cupcake wars” to get in on the action. The winter wonderland cake decorating contest takes place at the Peter White Public Library in just one week. The judged contest is open to all ages.

Decorated cakes are placed in three separate categories including youth, amateur and professional. The competition drew in quite the crowd last year and library staff hope this years contest will be just as successful. The contest takes place on Saturday January 14th but the cut–off time to enter the competition is tomorrow at 2pm.

Winners will be announced next Saturday after the judging period and cash prizes will be awarded.
