Marquette City Commission See’s Parks and Recreation 5 Year Master Plan
The Marquette City Parks and Recreation 5 year master plan went before the Marquette City Commission tonight.
The process of updating the plan began a year ago and has included input from members of the community as well as from various committees, commissions and boards.
The plan is in the draft stage and nearing completion.
It has been approved by the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board as well as the Planning Commission.
After approval from the City Commission the draft plan becomes the final plan.
The cities final plan will then be submitted to the state.
Hard copies of the plan are available for viewing at City Hall, lakeview arena, and peter white public library.
A copy of the draft plan is also posted on the city of marquette website at www.mqtcty.org
