Bank Robbery Suspect Description
Police in Marquette County’s Chocolay Township continue the search for the man who robbed the Northern Michigan Bank and Trust at gunpoint this afternoon.
An updated description of the suspect: a white male,in his late 20’s to mid 30’s, 6’2″-6’3″, 200-220 pounds.
He has short, dark hair and was wearing a green fleece zip-up hoodie.
He walked into the bank along M-28 in Harvey about 1:15 p.m. and asked a teller to put money in the bag he handed over.
He then showed her a weapon.
He left on foot, heading north, with an undisclosed amount of money.
Chocolay Township police are also looking for a vehicle in connection with the bank robbery.
They say the suspect may have left the scene in a 2000 Ford F–350 three-quarter-ton pickup truck.
The vehicle is believed to have left the scene eastbound on m–28.
The crew cab truck is dark blue in color and pulling a fifth wheel camper.
