Vote for Blueberry Festival poster submissions before Friday
MARQUETTE — The 16th Blueberry Festival Poster Design Contest is underway, and there are only two days left to vote on your favorite submission.
There are 19 total entries that are hoping to become the official poster to promote this year’s Blueberry Festival. There art forms range from photography and digital illustration to colored pencil and torn paper, among others.
Voting ends this Friday, May 25th. You can vote online HERE, or stop in to the Marquette Downtown Development Authority office (203 S. Front St. Suite 1-B in Marquette) and cast your vote in person. You are allowed to cast your vote both places.
The DDA is hosting an artist’s reception for the Blueberry Festival Poster Contest on Thursday, June 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at their office. All participants in the 2018 Blueberry Festival Poster Contest, along with their family, friends, and the public are invited to attend.
The winner of the poster contest will be announced during the event.
Blueberry Festival 2018 will be on Friday, July 27th. The selected poster will be available for purchase at the event.
