Annual reverse raffle lets the last come in first
MARQUETTE — The Beacon House is bringing back an annual raffle that has a unique twist.
The reverse draw raffle consists of 250 tickets being sold at $100 each. With the purchase of one of these tickets, you’ll receive entrance to the Beacon House’s Super Bowl party at the Landmark Inn. During halftime, the last ticket called, rather than the first, will be the winner of the $5,000 reward.
Although this isn’t the first year doing the reverse draw, this is the first time combining it with a Super Bowl party.
“This is the first time that we’ve combined it with the Super Bowl and it’s really fun because of all the celebrities we’ve had from the NFL for our celebrity golf outing. We’ve got some great memorabilia, some things that will be in the auction that will be a lot of fun. We’ll have a silent auction, this phenomenal NFL buffet that will be a lot of fun, eight big screen TV’s, and then of course all the fun activity that goes with that Reverse Draw,” said Beacon House CEO, Mary Dowling.
If you are one of the first 249 losers during the raffle, don’t get discouraged because there is a rebound bowl. For an additional $20, you can re-submit your ticket with the chance to win $1,000.
Tickets can purchased online at upbh.org/reversedraw.
