Stampede Western Wear opens its doors
Ishpeming — A new tack n’ feed store has opened up in Ishpeming.
Ishpeming has a new store that is stampeding its way into the community. Stampede Western Wear is a family owned business that sells a variety of livestock feeds.
The business also sells products such as western clothing, gardening supplies and deer hunting equipment. Other than the products, Stampede also offers various services for their customers.
“We have 16 storage units that are completely attained inside of our building.” said owner Jennifer Smith. “They are 9×18 and 9×20. They are heated and also have lights in them, so we offer those for rent. And then we have new saddles, we have used saddles, we have a consignment section.”
Stampede Western Wear is willing to work with customers who are looking for additional products and will order any needed supplies that can’t be found in the store. Since opening for business Saturday, the owner’s main focus has been the customers.
“It was asking the community what kind of products they would like and then trying to supply that.” Said Smith, “and even now, listening to what our community members are looking for in a store and being sure that I can get that for them.”
Smith said that they are excited to interact with more people in the community and invite anyone to stop by.
They can be found at 604 Lakeshore Drive in Ishpeming. For more information, click here.
