MTU men’s basketball lands Bryan Heath
HOUGHTON – The Michigan Tech University men’s basketball program has announced the signing of Bryan Heath, who will join the Huskies for the 2015-16 season.
Heath is a 6’4″ guard from Taylor Ridge, Ill. He averaged 22.1 points per game and 6.1 rebounds per game for Rockridge High School last season. Heath helped the Rockets to a 28-1 finish his junior season.
“Bryan’s an excellent all-around player,” said MTU men’s basketball coach Kevin Luke in a press release. “He’s a good shooter with the ability to get to the basket. He’s also a strong defender and rebounder with a high basketball IQ. He’s a full-time player and will have a great opportunity to play right away.”
Heath is a three-time all-conference selection and he earned All-State honors last season in Illinois.
