Weather Forecast- 6/16-17
Temperatures rose quickly across the region today as we surpassed the 80-degree mark in central and western portions of the Upper Peninsula.
A warm day will translate into a warm night, with temperatures only expected to fall into the lower 60s. South winds look to be between 5 to
10 miles per hour while clouds and humidity increase during the night.
Tuesday brings a chance of heavy rain as showers and storms roll through during the early morning and afternoon hours. High temps top off in the upper 70s and lower 80s while northwest winds strengthen to 10 to 20 miles per hour. By tomorrow night, shower activity decreases but skies will remain mostly cloudy. Lows drop to the mid 50s with north winds around five miles per hour.
A slight chance of rain is expected to be in the forecast again Wednesday, but that won’t keep sunshine away for most of the day.
