Great American Dine Out to Feed Hungry Kids
One area restaurant is joining a national movement this week to make sure children don’t go hungry.
The Up North Lodge in Gwinn is the only restaurant in the U.P. participating in the Great American Dine Out.
10% of their appetizer sales from this week go to organizations that help food banks and school nutrition programs.
The Great American Dine Out says by the end of the year, 12 million American kids will have to worry about getting the food they need.
This is the 2nd year the Up North Lodge is helping out.
The Great American Dine Out lasts through Saturday.
