First Sustained Arctic Blast of Winter
The winter season is upon us in earnest, with blasts of white throughout the Upper Peninsula.
As temperatures drop, the snow continues to fall throughout most of the U.P.
Parts of the area have had inches of snowfall adding up by the hour, and it’s not stopping anytime soon.
Lake-effect storms such as today’s are expected to continue throughout the week, letting up only a little bit tomorrow.
The National Weather Service says chances of precipitation through the overnight hours tonight are 100%, so they suggest bundling up!
