3 Texas ‘missing persons’ found in U.P., infant still missing
A Texas missing person’s investigation involving a family has been partially solved in Upper Michigan, but authorities are looking for a baby.
Escanaba Department of Public Safety says the agency assisted the El Paso Texas Police Department with finding three of four members of a missing family. Those three members of the Farrey family were located at the Eagles Nest motel, 1520 North Lincoln Road, Escanaba.
El Paso Police Department contacted Public Safety requesting assistance after learning the family may be in the Escanaba area. Escanaba officers located the two adults, Jeffrey and Jenna Farrey, and their vehicle at the motel. The couple’s son, 19 month old Blake Farrey, was also at the motel. But, 5 month old Jackson Farrey is still missing.
Jeffrey and Jenna Farrey were taken into custody, lodged in jail and are pending extradition back to Texas. Blake Farrey was placed in the care of Child Protective Services.
Escanaba Public Safety continues to assist the El Paso Texas Police Department with the
investigation. Escanaba Public Safety was assisted by the Delta County Sheriff Department, Michigan State Police and Child Protective Services.
