Soo man sentenced on drug charges
A Sault Ste. Marie man has been sentenced in Chippewa County Circuit Court on multiple drug charges.
Christopher Lee Yon, 29, pled guilty to three felony counts: Maintaining a Meth Lab, Obstruction of Justice, and Possession of Meth.
Yon was sentenced Tuesday to a minimum of nine to a maximum of 30 years in prison.
Yon was arrested at an Andary Avenue home in Sault Ste. Marie in January with 23–year–old Morningstar Leigh Parish.
The Michigan Department of Human Services took a two–year–old from the home into protective custody.
Parish is headed for a jury trial, which is scheduled to begin on February 13 in Chippewa County Circuit Court.
