Passenger hurt in Mqt. bus accident

A bus accident in Marquette this afternoon brought out the police and the fire department.

It happened just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Street and Prospect Street.

Eyewitnesses told ABC 10 that a MarqTran bus had to make a sudden stop for someone on, or crossing, the street.

We’re told that when the bus driver had to slam on the brakes, a passenger on the bus was injured.

The Marquette City Police are investigating.

The Marquette City Fire Department also responded to the scene.
